The Ed Brennan* Memorial Banquet and Golf Tournament is held every other spring at Club Pelican Bay and serves as the primary fundraising event for Founders Scholarship Fund.
The 2022 Event was a huge success with over $1 million dollars raised. Much gratitude and thanks go to the Event Committee, FSF Board, FSF Sponsors, and Donors.

*The first Board was comprised of Edward J. Brennan, Robert H. Caldwell and Jean Harford. Ed Brennan was the first to suggest the golf fundraising event and served as its Chairman. Ed Brennan succeeded Rocky Caldwell as Chairman of the Board for Founders Scholarship Fund. In 2000, the event was dedicated to the memory of Ed Brennan who passed away in 1999.

Founders Scholarship Fund hosts a Holiday Luncheon every year during the Christmas/New Year’s break. The event, held at Club Pelican Bay, honors the annual scholarship recipients and is attended by board members, supporters, and college students who are currently receiving scholarships.
Held every year at the start of the scholarship application season, counselors from Collier County high schools come to Club Pelican Bay to share information with Founders Scholarship Fund members and each other about the upcoming graduating class.
Each spring, Founders Scholarship Fund honors new scholarship recipients with a Scholarship Awards Reception held at Club Pelican Bay. Trustees, parents, sponsors, and counselors gather together to congratulate and welcome students into the fold as they receive their award.
