The Founders Scholarship Fund of Club Pelican Bay has stayed true to its mission since 1991 — to provide financial assistance to young men and women from Collier County in their pursuit of post high school education and training. Over $6 million dollars has been awarded to over 800 local students from Collier County (FL) high schools who have demonstrated both the need and the outstanding merit required to receive the scholarship award from The Founders Scholarship Fund.
The Founders Scholarship Fund endowment was formed in 2015 to help create sustainability for the organization. The driving force behind the formation of the Endowment Fund began with a very generous contribution from one donor of $250,000, and an additional contribution of another $250,000 challenge grant that matched dollar-for-dollar contributions…
where you can learn how to help the dream of a higher education come true for bright and motivated, but financially challenged, Collier County high school seniors. These students are the citizens of the future who will impact the lives of your families and communities for years to come. We are proud to introduce you to some of them and to our scholarship program.
The Ed Brennan Memorial Golf Tournament is held every other spring at Club Pelican Bay and serves as the primary fundraising event for The Founders Scholarship Fund.
Our benefactors, donors and corporate sponsors make it possible for The Founders Scholarship Fund to provide students in need of financial assistance with four-year scholarships in the amount of $24,000 each.
